JOHNNIE JACKSON

Johnnie Jackson of the 2900 block of Beachmont Ave., a retired auto mechanic, died May 20, 1995, in a local hospital.

Mr. Jackson was born in Hartsville, S.C., and was retired from the Norfolk Naval Supply Center. He was a former member of Queen Street Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mildred Jackson; two daughters, Betty Bailey of Virginia Beach and Lynda Bond of Norfolk; a son, Larry Singleton of Newport News; and a sister, Rosetta Little of Norfolk.

A funeral will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Graves Funeral Home by the Rev. I. Joseph Williams. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Friends may join the family at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today. ILLUSTRATION: Personal Photo
