Just Us Books Inc. will hold a contest to find a story idea for the fifth book in its NEATE series for middle readers. The series features five African-American junior high school students.
Story ideas should reflect the personalities as established in the previous books and should be no longer than one typewritten page.
The contest is open to readers age 14 and younger.
Proper grammar, punctuation usage, correct spelling, neatness, originality and creativity, as well as the story idea, will be considered.
The winner will receive $250 and written credit for his or her story idea in the book.
