Frances Rainey Crowling, 73, of the 3400 block of Cricket Hollow Lane, died Wednesday, May 24, 1995, in a Portsmouth hospital.
Mrs. Crowling, a native of Princess Anne County, Va., was retired from NationsBank as a note teller with 25 years of service. She was a member of St. Andrew Lutheran Church and Maryview Hospital Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband, Joseph S. Crowling; a son, Joseph V. Crowling of Oakton, Va., two granddaughters, Barbara Ann Goodwin of Warrenton, Va., Ellen Frances Rice of Sterling, Va., and five great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in Meadowbrook Memorial Mausoleum Chapel by the Rev. William H. Battermann. Foster Funeral Home is handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
