Professional John Stone and amateurs Scotty Pulz, Mike Harvey and Tom Newborn have won the team title in the Carolinas PGA Section tournament with a best and gross ball score of 248. Jim Hamilton won the professional division with a two-day score of 139.
The tournament was played Monday and Tuesday at the Nags Head Golf Links and the SeaScape Golf links. Forty-eight teams and 48 pros competed in the two divisions, with $13,085 distributed in prize money. by CNB
