A tyrannosaurus rex is lowered into position at the Virginia Living
Museum in Newport News Thursday, as the museum prepares for a
summerlong outdoors Dinamation exhibition. The museum's deer pasture
will become a Mesozoic jungle when the exhibit opens June 10, and
will feature more than 20 life-like mechanical dinosaurs. To bring
the dinos to ``life,'' Dinamation International, a California
company, combines robotics and the newest research to bring the past
roaring back to life.
