Clara Furlough Phelps, 83, died May 28, 1995, in Durham Regional Hospital.
She was the widow of Jordan Phelps.
Survivors include her sons, Harrison Phelps of Plymouth, N.C., Manfred Phelps of Durham and Dale Phelps of Hertford; sister, Alethia McGowan of Creswell; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Mount Tabor Freewill Baptist Church. Burial will be in Azalea Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Walker Funeral Home in Columbia, N.C., Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.
