Earl Cartwright, of the 1300 block of Ferry Point Road, died May 24, 1995, in a local hospital.
Mr. Cartwright was born in Norfolk. He had worked for Norfolk & Western Railroad for 30 years. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and the Usher Board.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred Cartwright; two daughters, Derrell M. Turner of Norfolk and Audrey T. Harmon of Virginia Beach; a son, Earl Cartwright of Ardmore, Pa.; a sister, Ethel Harris of Norfolk; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins and some very special sons.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church by the Rev. Darryl Scott. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Graves Funeral Home in charge. The family will assemble at the residence the day of the service. ILLUSTRATION: Personal Photo
