Tyrone ``Lil Buddy'' Purvis, 45, of the 1000 block of Wilmington St., died Sunday, May 28, 1995, in Norfolk Community Hospital.
Mr. Purvis was a native of Norfolk and the son of James Richard Purvis Sr. and Thelma Riddick Purvis. He was an Army veteran.
In addition to his parents, survivors include a daughter, Malaika Nelson; a son, Kevin Rountree; a sister, Joyce A. Purvis; and a brother, James Richard Purvis Jr.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Thursday at Riddick Funeral Service by the Rev. Lavern Williams. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be from 2 to 8 p.m Wednesday at the funeral home. The family will be at his residence, 1031 Wilmington St. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
