REBECCA A. BAKER

Rebecca Anne Baker, 77, died May 29, 1995, in a local hospital.

She taught art and English at Norfolk Collegiate School and at Tabernacle Bible College, and was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church of Virginia Beach. She was a member of Delta Sigma Lambda Sorority at Old Dominion Univeristy, and attended the Unversty of California at Los Angeles, Old Dominion Unversity, and Tidewater Community College.

She is survived bu three sons, Terry Wimberly of Texas, Arthur Wayne Baker of Virginia Beach, and Christopher Allen Baker of Greenville, S.C.; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Felix Lockhart Baker III; and a grandson, Nathan Allen Baker.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Tabernacle Baptist Church of Virginia Beach by Dr. Rod Bell. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, today from 6 to 9 p.m. The body will lie in state at the church from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday. Memorial donations may be sent to the American Cancer Society.
