Vicky Van Tyndall Smithson, 72, of the 700 block of Green Tree Circle, died May 30, 1995, in her home.
She was a native of Richland, N.C., and was the widow of John Raymond Smithson Jr. She was a member of Great Bridge Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
She is survived by two daughters, Jane Ray of Stem, N.C., and Diane Pennise-Belt of Chesapeake; two sons, Cecil Smithson of Chesapeake and Franklin Samuel Hill of Norfolk; three sisters, Ellen T. Morgan of Newbern, N.C., Verdi Moody of Kinston, N.C., and Swannie Bell Humphrey of Bellgrade, N.C.; two brothers, Jappy M. Tyndall of Newbern, N.C., and Elza P. Tyndall Jr. of Suffolk; nine grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. today at Great Bridge Congregation of Jehovah's Wintesses by David Hand. Burial will be in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel, is handling the arrangements.
