In ``Cold War relic'' (news, May 21), we hear from a former lieutenant commander, U.S. Navy; an admitted convicted turncoat; a person who could not or would not say no to his brother, knowing that his brother was playing with the KGB; a person who chose to aid and abet a traitor's crime; a person whom the U.S. Navy held in high esteem, hence his rank.
Wants a pardon? Forgive him? About as soon as I would forgive accused bomber Timothy McVeigh if the bomb hadn't killed quite so many in Oklahoma City. I don't think so!
