Ernest N. Boyce, 83, of 17 Temmerman Drive, died June 1, 1995, in Albemarle Hospital.
Mr. Boyce was born in Chowan County. He was a farmer, an Army veteran, a member of Greater Welch's Chapel Church and deacon at the church.
Survivors include one stepson, Ernest Spivey of Plainfield, N.J.; two sisters, Dolly Boyce of Elizabeth City and Denie Washington of Bronx, N.Y.; and three stepgrandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, June 5, at Greater Welch's Chapel Church by the Rev. F.L. Griffin. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Arrangements by Hunter's Funeral Home, Ahoskie. The body will be placed in the church from noon to 2 p.m. Monday.
