James M. McCullough, Sr., 77, of the 1900 block of Holiday St., a retired construction supervisor, died May 31, 1995.
Mr. McCullough retired from Harrison Wright Construction Co. and was formerly employed by Commonwealth Gas Co. for 25 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Mable L. McCullough; four daughters, Gloria M. Smith, Marsha Johnson, Patricia Beamon and Phyllis Jones, all of Portsmouth; a son, James McCullough, Jr. of Chesapeake; a brother, Herman McCullough of Portsmouth; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church by the Rev. Curtis E. Edmonds, Sr. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Fisher Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at 1565 Crystal Lake Drive, Portsmouth, and will assemble at 2500 Hickory St. for the procession to the church.
