Carl Clyde Ray, 60, died Friday, June 2, 1995, in Lake Taylor City Hospital.
Mr. Ray was disabled since age seven due to several childhood diseases. He was born in Parris Island, S.C. He was a former member of Glenwood Park Presbyterian Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Audra Ray and a brother, Orville Ray.
Survivors include three nieces, Katherine Fast, Diane Case and Mary B. Ray, all of Norfolk; and a former sister-in-law, Sandra Neal also of Norfolk.
The funeral will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel. A private burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park later in the week. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the evening service.
