Irene A. Reed, 64, of the 400 block of Beacon Hill Circle, a sales clerk, died June 6, 1995, in her residence.
Mrs. Reed was born in Burlington, Vt., and was a member of St. Matthew's Catholic Church. She was employed with J.C. Penney's Military Circle store for over 25 years. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends.
Survivors include her husband, Stanton K. Reed; five daughters, Virginia Phalen of Trenton, Fla., Vickie Powell of Virginia Beach, Vonnie Beck of New Smyrna Beach, Fla., Susan E. Palmateer of Chesapeake and Sandra K. Reed-Copeland of Racine, Wis.; a son, Edwin Lamphier Jr. of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Jean LaBonte of North Adams, Mass., and Elaine Hansleman of New York; a brother, Richard Duhamel of North Adams, Mass.; and 11 grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at noon Friday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. Fr. Timothy A. Drake. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. today. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be sent to one's favorite charity.
