SUSPECT STILL AT LARGE

Police on Thursday secured warrants for the second man suspected of robbing the Southern Pride Carwash Monday while dressed in ninja-like clothing.

The suspect, identified as 18-year-old German Colon Robles, is still at large.

Robles, also known as Herman, has been charged with robbery, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, malicious assault and wearing a mask, police spokesman Lou Thurston said.

Robles, whose last known address is in the 5800 block of Roxbury Place, is described as a black male, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 130 pounds, with black hair and green eyes.

Police said he may have fled the Hampton Roads area.

On Wednesday, detectives arrested the first suspect, 19-year-old Antone Green, of the 100 block of N. Oceana Blvd., after his fingerprint was found on a money box at the carwash. Southern Pride is located in the 1200 block of Oceana Blvd., near Harper's Road.

Police connected the men to the crime after Pedro Medoro, carwash assistant manager, told police the business was robbed and he was assaulted by two short people wearing ninja-like outfits.

Medoro also told police he saw the suspects with a gun and a Samurai-style sword.

Anyone with information on Robles is asked to call 427-0000.
