Eleanor E. McCoy, 56, of Monterey Avenue, Norfolk, an interior designer, died June 9, 1995, in Norfolk.
Ms. McCoy was born in Norfolk to the late Charles H. McCoy Sr. and Anne G. McCoy, and was a member of Christ & St. Luke's Church. She was a graduate of Holten Arms High School, Parsons School of Design and Old Dominion University. She was the owner of Eleanor E. McCoy Interiors.
She is survived by her mother, Anne McCoy; her brother and his wife, Charles and Diane McCoy Jr.; a niece, Elizabeth McCoy; nephews, Charles McCoy III and John McCoy; an aunt, Margaret Griffin; and a grand-niece, Sage McCoy, all of Norfolk.
Ms. McCoy was a member of Norfolk Yacht and Country Club, Kiwanis Club of Norfolk, the Virginia Club and the American Institute of Design. She was a life member in the Association for the Preservation of Virginia Antiquities and a member of the Board for Architects, Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Landscape Architects.
A funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 11, 1995 at Christ & St. Luke's Church by the Rev. James W.H. Sell and the Rev. Ross Wright. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, is handling arrangements.
