A 36-year-old Norfolk man was fatally shot in the face about 8 a.m. Friday in the 600 block of Tekoa Road in the Indian River section of the city.
The victim was identified as Rowand Willis of Fontainebleau Crescent in Norfolk, said Tony Torres, spokesman for the Chesapeake Police Department.
Police are investigating whether the shooting was accidental, Torres said. Several people have been interviewed, Torres said, including a man who was with Willis at the time.
