Enough is enough! The Serbs shot down a U.S. jet. That is an act of war!
Let us begin with what columnist William Safire calls ``the balance of power solution'': Arm the Bosnian Muslims and give them air support. If the Bosnian Muslims are brave and committed enough to stand up for their own freedom, who are we to deny them the opportunity?
Now is the time to draw our line in the dirt. One more act of aggression against the United States and we declare war on what's left of Yugoslavia. Maybe to drive the line home we should bomb Belgrade in retaliation for our jet being shot down.
When Saddam Hussein gobbled up a small country and took hostages as human shields, we went to war over it. Just because the Bosnians have no oil, should we then leave them to the mercy of Slobodan Milosevic?
