Jo Ann Turner Dodge, 36, of the 800 block of Forrest Lakes Drive, an elementary school teacher, died June 10, 1995, in her residence.
Mrs. Dodge was born in Norfolk. She was employed with Chesapeake Public Schools after 13 years. She was a member of Chesapeake Avenue United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi and Kappa Delta Pi. She was a graduate of Old Dominion University where she also received her Master's degree.
Survivors include her husband, Donald I. Dodge; a daughter, Jennifer Dodge of Chesapeake; a son, Joshua Dodge of Chesapeake; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph E. Turner Sr. of Chesapeake; a sister, Terry Burton of Chesapeake and a brother, Rocky Turner of Chesapeake.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel, by the Rev. Ted Bashford. Burial will be in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m.
