HIT THEM WHERE IT HURTS

Senator Dole is certainly on target in speaking out against the immorality of some of the products of Time Warner Inc. (Virginian-Pilot, June 1).

I have written Time Warner Inc. expressing my concern over the glorificatin of murder, rape and other brutality in their movies, TV programs and rap music. I also assured their chairman that I will no longer buy any company products, including Time magazine and Time Life Books until they get their act cleaned up.

To reform our entertainment industry, it's going to take a major effort with huge numbers of people writing letters along with the moral suasion of our nation's leaders. The only thing Hollywood will listen to is something that hits in the pocketbook.
