JOSEPH J. KAISER SR.

Joseph John Kaiser Sr., 74, of the 400 block of Stalham Road, died June 16, 1995, in a local hospital.

Mr. Kaiser was born in Akron, Ohio, and attended Indian River Baptist Church. He was retired from Western Branch Diesel as a government purchasing agent and was retired from the U.S. Navy as SHC E-7 after 22 years. He was a veteran of World War II and Korea and was a member of Fleet Reserve Branch (NU)040.

Survivors include his wife, Jacqueline O. Kaiser; a daughter, Linda M. Greene and two sons, Joe John Kaiser and Charles Edward Kaiser, all of Chesapeake; two sisters, Betty Kimes and Helen Ruelhman, both of Bradenton, Fla.; a brother, Henry Kaiser of Batavia, Ohio; and four grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, by the Rev. Robert E. Jordan. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 7 p.m. Sunday. Memorial donations may be made to Sentara Hospice Program, Koger Center, Norfolk, Va. 23502.
