Sye Aubrey Grubbs, 69, a retired mechanic, died June 16, 1995 in a local hospital.
Mr. Grubbs was born in Winston-Salem, N.C. He retired from Shue's Auto Service after 35 years and was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Hannah Smith; a sister, Emma Overby of North Carolina; and a brother, Lester Grubbs of Nebraska.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, by Dr. Paul C. Lawson. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday.
