Local police are asking public assistance in solving these cases:
VIRGINIA BEACH
On Tuesday, June 6, at 10:45 p.m., a man entered the 7-Eleven at 137 Newtown Road at Arrowhead Drive. He placed beer on the counter, pulled a knife and demanded money.
After getting a small amount of cash, the man left the store and was last seen heading toward an apartment complex on Newtown Road.
The suspect is described as white, 50 to 60 years old, 5 foot 3 inches tall, 140 pounds, with brown hair, a mustache and goatee. He was wearing coveralls and a baseball cap.
THIS WEEK'S MOST WANTED
Arrest warrants were on file as of June 16 for the following person.
Cecil Lee Kitchkommie, 45, is wanted for his third offense of assault and battery. He is described as white, 5 feet 10 inches tall, 155 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
NORFOLK
On June 8, two robberies occurred at two different hotels.
The first took place at 12:55 a.m. at the Quality Inn Lake Wright hotel in the 6200 block of Northampton Blvd. The victim said there was a knock at the door and as he opened it, he was forced back into the room at gunpoint. The man was tied up as three men ransacked his room.
Then at 11:25 p.m., a man was robbed at gunpoint in the same way at the Days Inn in the 5700 block of Chambers St. He was bound, gagged and blindfolded. Once again, three men committed this robbery.
The suspect in the first robbery is described as black, about 28, 5 feet 9 inches tall, with a small build and medium brown complexion. The second victim described his assailant as black, 30 to 35 years old, 6 feet tall and about 175 pounds. He had a medium build and a medium brown complexion.
CHESAPEAKE
Oliver T. Mayo, 38, is wanted for possession of cocaine and violation of parole.
Mayo is described as black, 5 feet 10 inches tall, 165 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
Negal White is wanted for violation of probation stemming from a conviction for cocaine possession.
White is described as black, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 135 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He is known to frequent the Deep Creek area of Chesapeake.
HAMPTON
On the evening of Thursday, April 20, an unknown person used a large rock to break a rear window and gain entry into a home in the 1600 block of Chesapeake Ave.
The burglar then stole a large amount of assorted jewelry.
Investigators have no suspects.
