JACK T. JONES

Jack Terry Jones, 48, of the 8300 block of W. Blackwater Road, died June 17, 1995, at Sentara Hampton General Hospital.

A native of Franklin, he was employed with Newport News Shipbuilding for 23 years. He attended Franklin High School and Hampton University. He was an active member of the Sportsmen's Club in Franklin.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda W. Jones; two sons, Jamie Jones and Jermaine Jones of Windsor; his mother, Ruth B. Jones; three sisters, Mary Gainey of Franklin, Lois Golden of Hampton and Betty Ricks of Norfolk; and three brothers, Henry Jones Jr. and Morris Jones of Norfolk and Wallace Jones of Portsmouth; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Henry Jones.

A funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. today in Piney Grove Baptist Church by the Rev. Clarence Myrick. Burial will be in Southview Cemetery, Franklin. Elvin Vaughan Funeral Home, Franklin, is in charge.
