MARY JANE MONAHAN

Mary Jane Monahan, 76, a retired EKG technician, died June 19, 1995, in a local hospital.

Mrs. Monahan was born in Johnstown, Pa., and was the widow of Regis E. Monahan Sr. She was retired from Norfolk Diagnostic Clinic and was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Jeanne Early of Virginia Beach, Judy Robinson of Norfolk and Anne Harden of Jacksonville, Fla.; four sons, Regis E. Monahan Jr. of Panama Canal Zone, Joseph F. Monahan of Virginia Beach, Timothy P. Monahan of Madison, Ga. and Brian T. Monahan of Newport News; a brother, John Joseph Whitehouse of Salem, Ore.; 25 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Resurrection will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in St. Pius X Catholic Church by Fr. Joseph Metzger III. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, Charleston, W.Va., at a later date. A Christian wake service will be held at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, at 7 p.m. today with visitation to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Chesapeake Beach Rescue Squad.
