JOHNNIE R. MORRIS

Johnnie R. Morris, 39, of the 1300 block of Hazel Ave., died June 19, 1995, in his residence.

He was a native of Clay County, W.Va., and was a musician at Blakely's Restaurant.

Survivors include his wife, Catherine Quidley Morris; two step-sons, Nathan E. Farmer and Daniel L. Farmer, both of Chesapeake; his step-mother, Sheila Johns of Spokane, Wash.; seven sisters, Mary Collins of Dublin, Va., Margie Boone of Clifton Forge, Va., Karen Fugate of Rupert, W.Va., Loretta Greene of Washington, Pa., Rozella Hamric of Buckhannon, W.Va., Bernita Taylor of Clifton Forge, Va., and Freda Workman of Charleston, W.Va.; three brothers, Roy E. Morris of Spokane, Wash., H. Carl Morris of Mt. Nebo, W.Va., and Darrell L. Morris of Norfolk.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel. Burial will be in Chespeake Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m.
