Jewel W. Dozier, 67, died June 20, 1995, in her residence.
She was a native of Kenly, N.C., and was the widow of Moncure K. Dozier. She was a loving wife and mother.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Monte L. and Audrey Dozier of Chesapeake; one sister, Ruth Giles of Hampton; two grandchildren, Cynthia Clark of Atlanta, Ga., and Christopher Dozier of Asheville, N.C.; and nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
The graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Rosewood Memorial Park by the Rev. Eddie Heath. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, today from 7 to 8 p.m. and immediately following the service at 925 Sharon Drive, Chesapeake.
