Julian Rudolph ``Red'' Hollowell, 76, of the 100 block of Katherine St., died June 19, 1995, in Obici Hospital.
Mr. Hollowell was born in Corapeake, N.C., and was retired as a supervisor from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard. He was a member of First Baptist Church Main Street, Clyde Barnhill Sunday School Class, AARP and National Association of Retired Federal Employees. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, G. Ivy Hollowell; two daughters, Elaine H. Jordan of Gainesville, Fla., and Barbara Jean Harris of Nags Head, N.C.; a stepdaughter, Elaine V. Jones of Suffolk; a stepson, Eley B. Vann of Greensville, S.C.; and eight grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, Irene Barber Hollowell and James A. Hollowell.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Charles W. Thompson. Hill Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
