Martha Mulligan ``Mot'' Jones, 76, of the 400 block of Mayflower Road, a retired registered nurse, died June 21, 1995, in her residence.
Mrs. Jones was a native of Anderson, S.C., and was retired from C & P Telephone Co. She was a member of Portsmouth First Pentecostal Holiness Church, Richard Dale Women's Club and Ladies Shrine.
Survivors include her husband, J. Bela Jones; two daughters, Adelia ``Dee'' Sword and Diane Bunting, both of Portsmouth; and two grandsons, Michael D. Sword and David J. Bunting.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Boulevard Chapel, by the Rev. Nelson F. Fields. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Shriner's Hospital for Crippled Children or a charity of the sender's choice.
