Approximately 275 members of the 1st Fighter Wing's 94th Fighter Squadron at Langley Air Force Base in Hampton are scheduled to begin deploying today to Southwest Asia in support of Operation Southern Watch, the three-year-old monitoring of Iraq's military flights.
The squadron is expected to return in October when it will be replaced by members of the 71st Fighter Squadron from Langley.
