Thomas Milton Freeman Sr., 74 yrs., of 955 Wolcott Ave., died Thursday, June 22, 1995, at DePaul Hospital.
Mr. Freeman was born in Harrellsville, N.C., and was the son of the late Prince and Pattie Freeman. He served for 30 years as an electric welder at the Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, Virginia. He retired in 1979 receiving honorable recognition.
He leaves to mourn, his wife Cora; one daughter, Jacqueline Roberts of Va. Beach; two sons, Thomas Jr., of Winston-Salem, N.C., and Michael of Norfolk, Va.; four grandchildren, Harland and Jasmine Roberts of Va. Beach, DeAngelo Freeman of Norfolk, Va., and Zoe Brown of Chesapeake, Va.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 27, at New Calvary Baptist Church by Rev. G.G. Campbell. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park, Va. Beach, Va. Graves Funeral Home in charge. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
