Harold W. Tolmich, 63, of the 400 block of Lineberry Road, a retired teacher, died June 24, 1995, in his residence.
Mr. Tolmich was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. He had retired from Virginia Beach City Schools. He was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church and was a U.S. Navy veteran. He was predeceased by his daughter, Karen Ann Tolmich.
Survivors include his loving wife, Ellen Tolmich of Virginia Beach; two daughters, Debbie Maggard of Slidell, La. and Laurie F. Rogers of Virginia Beach; a son, Michael E. Tolmich of Virginia Beach; his mother, Yetta Lader of Douglaston, N.Y.; two sisters-in-law, Margaret Bussmann and Rose Mary Blount, both of Virginia Beach; two brothers and their wives, Jerry and Estelle Tolmich of North Hollywood, Calif. and Herbert Tolmich and Sonja of Norwalk, Conn.; and seven grandchildren, Tara, David, Bret, Kyle, Amber, Michael and Danielle; and one great-grandson, Anthony.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Holy Spirit Catholic Church by Father Tom Caroluzza. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Princess Anne Memorial Park. The family will receive friends today from 6 to 8 p.m. in Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel, where a Christian wake service will be held at 7 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the United Cancer Society, the Oncology Department of Norfolk.
