Helen C. Davis, 78, formerly of Portsmouth, passed away on June 21, 1995.
She was the widow of Alvin J. Davis and is survived by one daughter, Darlene Davis Browning of Fayetteville, N.C.; three grandchildren; three great-granchildren; one sister, Evelyn Massey; and one niece.
Mrs. Davis and her late husband were former members of Westhaven Baptist Church in Portsmouth.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Chesapeake. In lieu of flowers, a donation to your favorite charity or to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
