Frances Carpenito Karako, 68, of the 3300 block of Ocean Shore Ave., died June 26, 1995 in her residence.
Mrs. Karako was born in Portsmouth. She was a retired assistant manager for Suburban Propane/Gas Co. after 42 years and was Catholic.
Survivors include her husband, Gerald P. Karako; a brother, Pat Carpenito of Courtland, Va.; four nieces; and two nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Luisa Carpenito and Pasquale ``Patsy'' Carpenito; and two brothers, Tony and Joe Carpenito.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Olive Branch Cemetery by Father James E. Dorson. A Christian wake service will be held at Snellings Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel, at 7:30 p.m. today with visitation following until 9 p.m.
