Verlee Baker of the 500 block of Washington St., died June 29, 1995, in Southampton Memorial Hospital after a short illness.
A native of Southampton County, she was the daughter of the late John and Vergie Claude Hardy. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Enoch Baker; and three brothers, Leroy Hardy, Joseph Hardy of Franklin and John M. Hardy of Portsmouth.
A funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday in First Baptist Church by the Rev. Henry Blunt. Burial will be in Southview Cemetery. Elvin Vaughan Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
