DALLIS JOYNER

Dallis Joyner, 72, of the 1000 block of Wolcott Ave., a retired master chief petty officer, died June 27, 1995, in Atlanta, Ga.

Mr. Joyner was born in Yadkin County, N.C. He retired from the U.S. Navy after 30 years.

Survivors include his wife, Thelma Ree Joyner; a daughter, Ms. Mary Abdullah of Norfolk; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Carolyn Joyner of Atlanta, Ga.; a son, D.T. Joyner of Atlanta; grandchildren, Tanya, Christina, Alena, Tramarr, Sidney, Shareen and Dallis; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was cremated in Atlanta. His ashes will be scattered at sea per his request. Arrangements by Atlanta Crematory, Inc. Information by E.A. Hughes Funeral Home.

Beyond the gate, your loved one finds happiness and rest. And there is comfort in the thought that a loving God knows best.
