Anne Whitehurst White, 79, of the 2800 block of Shore Dr., died on Fri., June 30, 1995, in a Virginia Beach health care center. She was born in Norfolk, and was the daughter of the late Alberta Boudro and Lee E. Whitehurst.
Mrs. White was retired as a schoolteacher in the Norfolk Public School System, having taught at Northside Junior High School for over 17 years. She was a member of Ghent United Methodist Church and a Circle of the United Methodist Women. She also was a graduate of the College of William & Mary and a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority.
Survivors include her husband, James B. White, two daughters, Anne Lee Bain of St. Cloud, MN, and Beverley B. Fifer of Bristol, VA; two stepdaughters, Eleanor W. Jones of Germantown, MD., and Mary Anne White of Owings, MD.; a stepson, Edward B. White of Charleston, S.C.; and eight grandchildren.
A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, July 3, 1995, in Forest Lawn Cemetery by Rev. Harold E. Thornton. The family will be at Cox Funeral Home on Sunday afternoon from 2 till 3 p.m. for visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Parkinson's Disease Association, 116 John St., N.Y., N.Y. 10038.
