Marine Ward Blanchard, 91, of Rt. 1, died Friday, June 30, 1995.
Mrs. Blanchard was born in Gates County. A homemaker, she was a member of Hobbsville Baptist Church. She was the wife of the late Alvah Edison Blanchard.
Surviving are two daughters, Annie Hope B. Christian and Lois Jean B. Bullard, both of Raleigh; three sisters, Myrtle Baker of Belvidere, Rosa Lee Riddick and Edna White, both of Hobbsville; one brother, Herman Ward of Hobbsville; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in Hobbsville Baptist Church by the Rev. Paul Harrell. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Miller Funeral Home, Gatesville, is handling arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hobbsville Baptist Church.
