Helen Lane Overton, 87, of the 4200 block of Van Luik Court, died July 1, 1995, in Chesapeake.
Mrs. Overton was the widow of James Wilson ``Bill'' Overton Sr. She was a member of South Norfolk Congregational Christian Church and also the Pythian Sisters.
Survivors include two sons, James Wilson ``Jimmy'' Overton Jr. of Chesapeake and Keith W. Overton of Virginia Beach; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted Wednesday at 1 p.m. by the Rev. Willis Dowling and the Rev. George Sweet in South Norfolk Congregational Christian Church. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, in charge. The family will receive friends at the residence.
