An 18-year-old was hospitalized Sunday after being shot in the back late Saturday night, police said.
Antonio Cuffee and three other teenagers were riding bicycles in the 2900 block of Fireside Road in South Norfolk when a dark-colored car drove by, made a U-turn and came back, Police Sgt. W.L. Harrison said.
Three men armed with handguns got out of the car and fired several shots at Cuffee and his companions, Harrison said.
Cuffee, who lives in the Broadlawn area, was the only person injured. He was listed in stable condition at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital on Sunday.
The motive for the shooting is not known.
