W. Magnolia ``Maggie'' Chalmers, 67, of the 700 block of W. 34th St., a retired nurse, died July 2, 1995, at home.
Mrs. Chalmers was born in Taccoa, Ga., and was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Norfolk.
Survivors include her husband, Stanley A. Chalmers Jr.; seven daughters, Priscilla C. Johnson and Stella L. Carter, both of Chesapeake, Lela A. Parson, Barbara Anne Alexander, Barbara Jean Case, Juanita B. Teague, Beatrice C. Grant, all of Norfolk; two sons, Stanley A. Chalmers III of Charlotte, N.C., and Kenneth F. Chalmers Sr. of Norfolk; a sister, Julia Wheeler of Taccoa, Ga.; two brothers, Clarence Maxwell Jr. and Charles Maxwell, both of Taccoa; 24 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a brother-in-law, Warner P. Chalmers.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Kingdom Hall, Colonial Place, Norfolk, by Luther Lewin. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Pretlow & Sons Funeral Home is handling arrangements. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
