EVELYN L. TULL

Mrs. Evelyn Laurie Tull, 65, of 214 Hollow Road, Lincolnton, died Saturday, July 1, 1995, at the Wesley Nursing Center in Charlotte, N.C.

She was born May 25, 1930, in Northhampton, Va., the daughter of Mr. Robert L. and Evelyn Scott Floyd. She was a homemaker and did volunteer work for Bucyrus Red Cross and Bucyrus Community Hospital for 18 years. She was a past member of the First Presbyterian Church of Bucyrus, Ohio, and Norview Baptist Church in Norfolk, Va. She was a long-term member of NEW ERA CLUB and Bucyrus Garden Club, both in Bucyrus, Ohio. She was a member of and active in Circle (NU)4 at First Presbyterian Church in Lincolnton.

Survivors include husband, Robert E. Tull of the home; son, Thomas W. Tull of German Town, Tenn.; three sisters, Fannie E. Smith and Eleanor R. Moore, both of Norfolk, and Lucille F. Belda of Cape Charles, Va.; and grandson, Robert Jamison Tull of German Town, Tenn.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Lincolnton with the Rev. Dr. William Terry officiating. Burial will be Thursday, July 6, 1995, at 2 p.m. in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Norfolk. The family will receive friends today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Warlick Funeral Home and again in the church fellowship hall following the service. Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel is handling arrangements. Memorials may be sent to First Presbyterian Choir Fund, 104 W. Main St., Lincolnton, N.C., or Lucemia Society, 5624 Executive Court, Charlotte, N.C. 28212.
