Frank Terranova, 65, of Route 4, Hertford, N.C., died in the Albemarle Hospital Tuesday evening at 5:42 p.m.
He was a native of Brooklyn, N.Y., and was the retired owner/manager of the 17 South Garment Company Inc. Mr. Terranova was the son of the late Fred and Angelina Monaco Terranova and the husband of Brenda Kay Smith Terranova. He was a veteran of the Korean War, having served in the U.S.A.F.; a member of the Oak Grove United Methodist Church, the Coastal Cruisers, and a member of the Inter County Water Association for the past 15 years.
Besides his wife, Mr. Terranova is survived by two daughters, JoAnne Clarke of Chesapeake and Maria A. Roe of Freehold, N.J.; one son, Benjamin Frank Terranova of Hertford; one sister, Anne Kidd of Selinsgrove, Pa.; five brothers, Carl Terranova of Hertford, Joey Terranova of Belmar, N.J., Eddie Terranova of Titusville, Fla., Salvatore Terranova of Deltona, Fla., and Jimmy Terranova of Corpus Christi, Texas; and two grandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m. in the West Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives at Twiford's Memorial Chapel, Elizabeth City, today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and at other times at their residence.
