This city really has its priorities mixed up: 409 tickets have already been written for cruising. Why, when there is so much crime in this area?
Don't the police have anything better to do than count how many times a car drives up and down a road? With summer just around the corner, shouldn't they be putting more emphasis on drunken drivers, drug pushers and prostitutes? Did our forefathers mention anything in the Constitution about how many times a car can travel on a road in a three-hour period?
Being a parent, I'd much, much rather see my teenagers cruise than get into trouble the ``normal'' '90s way.
The point is, to get to one of the Oceanfront stores, you have to park your car six blocks away or pay $5 or more to park. It's not like you can just pull up in front of a place and park for free. You have to walk
. So what is that road being used for at night when the cruisers come out? Lay off these kids and let them enjoy their youth, trouble-free.
