Florence S. Berlin, 81, of the 600 block of Pembroke Ave., died July 5, 1995, in a Norfolk hospital.
Mrs. Berlin was born in Brooklyn. She was the widow of Leon Berlin. She was a member of Congregation Beth El in Norfolk and its sisterhood; O.R.T.; Beth Sholom Home Auxiliary; life member of Hadassah and The Hebrew Ladies Charity Society; and a charter member of the Amputees Support Group.
Survivors include two daughters, Barbara B. Patish of Norfolk and Judith B. Kaufman of Del Ray Beach, Fla.; a sister, Bernice S. Rosenblum of Virginia Beach; and six grandchildren, Mindy Beary, Michael, Lawrence and Deborah Patish, Ellie Bernstein, Lori Cartwright; and four great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday July 7, 1995, at Forest Lawn Cemetery Norfolk by Rabbi Arthur Ruberg and Cantor Jacob Tessler. The family will receive friends at the home of Barbara Patish, 1809 Longdale Drive, Norfolk. Memorial donations may be made to charity of choice. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts. Norfolk Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
