Pauline Edwards Shaw, 80, of the 700 block of N. Colony Ave., a homemaker, died July 5, 1995, in Guardian Care Nursing Home.
Mrs. Shaw was born in Bertie County and was a resident of Warrenton until 1988. She was the widow of Henry Elias Shaw and was a member of Warrenton Baptist Church.
Survivors include four sisters, Ann E. Lea, Daisy Coleman, Florence Edwards, Mildred Peele, all of Ahoskie; a brother, James Edwards of Windsor, N.C.; a nephew, Abner M. Askew of Ahoskie; and other nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Ahoskie Cemetery by the Rev. Robert May. The family will be at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lockwood Peele, 505 Circle Drive, Ahoskie, N.C. 27910. Garrett Funeral Home, Ahoskie, is in charge. Memorial donations may be made to Ahoskie Rescue Squad or Roanoke Chowan Hospice, P.O. Box 272, Ahoskie, N.C. 27910.
