Due to misinformation from a police report, a July 1 newsbrief on a Portsmouth bank robbery incorrectly stated that Michael McClain had been charged with armed robbery and use of a firearm. Police said Friday that McClain was not charged.
There was an error in the July 5 Lottery report in Friday's newspaper. It should have stated that there was a single winner in the Lotto drawing.
A June 28 article said 5,000 Cuban and 300 Haitian refugees remain at the Guantanamo Bay Naval Station in Cuba. The total figure should have been about 16,000.
