The Virginia Beach law firm of Consolvo, Markowitz & Webb, which marks its origin back to the partnership formed by Ernest C. Consolvo and Carl S. Markowitz 25 years ago, has handled more than 45,000 residential real estate transactions during the quarter century of its existence.
The lawyers credit their success and longevity to the fact that all sales are handled by one of the partners instead of by a paralegal or ``closer.'' William T. Webb Jr. joined the firm in 1978.
Their philosophy is as follows: ``A matter as important as the purchase of a home merits obtaining the expertise and assistance of an experienced real estate attorney, and when a client pays for legal services, that client is entitled to the personal attention and service of that attorney.''
