Jean N. Saunders, 94, formerly of Norfolk, died July 8, 1995, in Norfolk.
Mrs. Saunders was born in Old Princess Anne County. She retired from The Hub and P.H. Rose Center Shops and was a member of First Baptist Church of Norfolk for more than 50 years.
Survivors include a son, Jack K. Saunders of Norfolk; a sister, Sarah E. Brockmyer of Virginia Beach; a brother, Allyn B. Nimmo of Chesapeake; two grandchildren, John W. Saunders of Norfolk and Kenneth L. Saunders of Virginia Beach; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. Richard E. Baker. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel. Memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Norfolk or Azalea Baptist Church.
